it's almost the end of the year. now that APs are over, i'm really not worrying about much, a final project for apush, a poetry project for aplang, and a final lab report/makeup test for apchem. i'm only worried about chemistry. but on the bright side, i've been playing around with photography, though it's not much. here comes the good announcement. my mom told me to drop an AP next year [told, not requested], so after much thought, i'm dropping ap european history next year. i was debating between taking photography, art, human anatomy, or chorus, but i decided to submit a portfolio to the art teacher and see if i could get into art 3,

like....really. junior year is eating up my life. and i've stopped doing art other than doodling.. how depressing. maybe i'll pick it back up in 2010. anyways, merry christmas, to everyone that celebrates! happy holidays to those that don't, and enjoy the break from school (:

i actually had a really good talk with one of my friends today after tennis. and while things aren't cleared up...it does no good for me to worry, right? i'll just take things as they go and keep going on. i'm not sure if you guys have read/seen this already, but if you can ever get your hands on the Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, i'd really recommend reading it. the actual lecture's on youtube under Carnegie Mellon's account [nice school...wouldn't mind going there P:] and overall, it's just very uplifting. i think the phrase that's driving me on at the moment is this-- "bricks walls aren't there to stop you.  they're there to show how
